Hunt (1936- )

Already well-fed,

they sniff other quarry

to pass the days,

roaming & tracking fear

in fine leather shoes, sneakers,

combat boots.

Back then & now, bloodhounds

walk their dogs,

sic terror at too many turns—

Double-breasted, t-shirted,

uniformed beasts

always on the prowl.
