Stuntman Receives Fan Mail

Dear Stuntman:

I am

the blazing fire

leapt through the amazing

cliff jumped off

I am

the car sent aloft

through the air of Paris

I am

the Ferris wheel

clung to by fists

of steel

I am

the real

Evander Holyfield

you pretended to

I am

the lunch

of gravel eaten when

the Brahman bull

tossed you over

to the pull of earth

face first

I am

the worst of the wild

Mexican hogs

I am

the seed of every crazy

you ever do

I am

the piece of knee

and the scraps of skin

and the black rag of blood

you left behind

I am

coming for you
